For the past 7 years NAYC / Action Centres UK has been working with Wide Horizons to seek a
positive use for Lakes created as a result of sand and gravel extraction at Whitemoor Haye and Sittles Farms near Alrewas in Staffordshire, opposite the National Memorial Arboretum. Planning Permission was granted in August 2007 for Whitemoor Lakes, a brand new 300-bed facility, with a similar purpose to our Pioneer Centre in Shropshire.
